President will lead the nation in the tribute to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr B.R. Ambedkar in his 63rd Mahaparinirvan Diwas on December 6, 2018.

In the morning, the president will offer a floral tribute on the statue of Baba Saheb in Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the House of Parliament complex.

The Vice President, the Prime Minister and other dignitaries will also pay homage to the Father of the Constitution of India, Dr Ambedkar.

Other leaders who will pay tribute to Baba Saheb include the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Union, Dr Thaawarchand Gehlot, the State Ministers of Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Shri Vijay Sampla and other dignitaries.

The function will be organized by the Ambedkar Foundation, an autonomous organization dependent on the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The floral tribute on the statue of Baba Saheb in Sansad Bhavan Lawns in the House of Parliament complex will be paid from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

All visitors will not be allowed to bring prohibited items, such as bags, briefcases, packages, cell phones, pens, cameras, pennants, posters, marshals, banners, firearms, swords, barns and other objectionable items.

The disposition to store personal belongings can be deposited in the posts of the foundation erected in front of the PTI building.
