These four MLAs violated the party whip on January 18 and February 8 to attend the CLP meetings and participate in the 10-day budget session of the Assembly till 6-15 February. However, on 11 February, the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah wrote letters to disqualify the Jadhav for disqualification with three other rebels Ramesh Zarkihali, B. Nagendra and Mahesh Kumtalli under anti-defection law. But the Speaker did not take action on this, as these MLAs participated in the budget session from 13 February to 15 February till the postponement for indefinite period.
