1. The withdrawal is under way in the elections of the Assembly of Rajasthan and Telangana. The votes were cast in 199 constituencies of Rajasthan while the poll was canceled at the Ramgarh seat in the Alwar district following the death of Bahujan party candidate Samaj Laxman Singh. All 119 constituency constituencies of the Telangana assembly are voting on Friday.
2. Despite the claims of EVM malfunction by both Rajasthan and Telangana, voters have shown great enthusiasm since the morning. Long queues have been seen outside the polling stations of both states. From the voters for the first time to the nonagenarian voters crowded the polling stations of both states to celebrate what is commonly called a democracy festival.
3. Shortly after the start of voting in Rajasthan, an 80-year-old woman was seen in a polling booth in the district of Jodhpur. Wrapped in a shawl to defeat the cold of winter, the woman posed enthusiastically for the cameras after voting at stand number 103 in the Sardarpura district of Jodhpur.
4. Telangana showed no less enthusiasm in reaching the polling station.
5. The Election Commission has established more than 250 polling stations for all women in Rajasthan. Commonly referred to as pink booths, these polling stations helped to improve the percentage of votes.
6. Many high-profile people came out this morning to cast their vote in Telangana. Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and his wife and actor Amala Akkineni are standing in line to cast their vote at stand no. 151 to Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
7. Actor Allu Arjun was also seen lining up to cast his vote at stand no. 152 to Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
8. Telangana's irrigation minister, T Harish Rao, voted in the polling station no. 102 in the circumscription of Siddipet.
9. On the other hand, in Rajasthan, state minister Gulab Chand Kataria offered prayers at a Shiv temple in Udaipur before expressing her vow. Rajasthan has developed a unique voting model over the past 20 years. Do not vote for the ruling ruling party.
10. The Prime Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, expressed his vote at the polling station no. 31A in the district of Jhalrapatan in the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. Raje has a tough challenge to bring the BJP back to power in Rajasthan for a consecutive period before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
11. Highlight the election of the assembly must be a 90-year-old man in the district of Jodhpur. This man can not walk on his feet. Yet, he made sure that he arrived at the polling station no. 104 in the district of Sardarpura in the district of Jodhpur to express their vote. He was transported by a young man to the polling booth.
12. In Jaipur, Shajha, 105, voted in a polling booth in Kishanpura. The elector's family complained that the polling station did not have the wheelchair structure, forcing them to bring it into the polling station for the decisive vote.
